I have recently been delving deeper into kettlebell (KB) training.
I am finding that KB training is an excellent core and stability training method. Keeping balance with all of the movements definitly lights up my middle, shoulders, and glutes. These are three key areas when doing any type of strength training.
I have also found that KB training hits one of the most important factors in training. That is conditioning. Also known as general physical preparation, work capacity, and getting in shapedness.
KB Training is a great way to incorporate training all of the above things.
Another great application is that the Kettlebell really helps with power and fitness needed for throwing. Increasing coordination in throwing movements, or coordination in general really helps to realize gains on the field.
So when you are planning your next conditioning workout. I recommend Kettlebell training.
I will update with more KB training ideas as they occur.
