Watch Those Hands!

One of the most common problems our athletes have is rips on the hands. This can cause significant problems for Olympic lifters.

To eliminate this, at the end of each workout, scrub your hands with a soft bristle brush, soap and warm water. The brush also helps to remove dead skin. Then apply moisturizing lotion to the hands.

Once or twice a week, file calluses with an emery board. If you work with kids, as we do, you may have to have "hand inspection" before they leave the gym to make sure it's done properly.
