I have been training without any long break since the age of 12. After 45 years of dedication to purpose the old saying "showing up is half the battle" rings true to me. Many, many workouts were done when there was not enough time, pushing deadlines or just looking for a reason to not lift. This nagging problem finally being solved by my "plain clothes theory". I push my work day to the last minute and when that magic 5:00 bell tolls I tape the wrists, slap on my belt, and clad in most likely my Lucky jeans and Sorinex "Grip Strong" T I get with it for about 2 1/2 hours 3 to 4 days a week. Granted, all I have to do is walk from my office into our facility but I think of this as my home and all those stout souls that train here just accept the old man as he is. I figure by just going plain clothes I have logged HUNDREDS more workouts than the average guy searching for his lost sweatpants. RS
