Super Squat Enhancer

For alternative workouts for your legs, you must try what we have tried. Every other week, instead of heavy squats, we have incorporated a hardcore leg circuit to supplement our leg training. This is not for the weak of heart or the bodybuilding want to be. This is for the serious power hardcore gainers. We do a wide variety of circuits every other week, but this is a sample of a circuit we have used in the past.

Squat medium weight (50%) x 20 reps,
Lunge walk w/100 lb. sand bag 30 yds.,
Step ups w/100 lb. sand bag x 10 each leg,
Leg extension x 10,
Leg curl x 12,
Heel raise x 15,
Lunge walk w/100 lb. sand bag 30 yds. back w/10 squats at each 5 yd. mark,

This is the end of one cycle. This needs to be completed with minimal rest between exercises. Repeat this three times if you want to get by, repeat four times if you want to get better.

Be prepared to be very sore after this brutal workout. We have found that this has helped to increase our squat poundage from week to week, over an eight week cycle.
