The final event is the Circus Dumbbell lift overhead. This custom made work of strength art, the brain child of Richard Sorin, weighs 202lb. and has a handle diameter of 3". When not in use during the Arnold contest, it resides in Austin, Texas at the National Museum of Strength, operated by Terry Todd. The little brother of the Circus Bell, "Rosey", a red 162lb version of the same dimensions was used as the warm-up bell. After the warm-ups "Rosey" was signed by all competitors, former champions, KAZ, and Magnus ver Magnusson.
The Finals were awesome. Franco Columbu accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award from Arnold and there was a lot of action in the Circus Bell Event. Pfister and Ortmeyer tied with 9 rep record. Kokylaev completed 8 reps to tie the record. The real magic for this event was Derek Poundstone, making a world record 15 reps and locking in 1st place for the competition.
