In the second day at the Arnold Strongman contest, the athletes started with the Stone lift. This year, the event coordinators upped the ante with yet again, and had the athletes attempt at 529lb. monolith, which would be a new world record. This stone, was not to be loaded onto a box, but over a bar, which also happened to be the cross-bar of the monster-sized Sorinex Designed Yoke. This allowed the height to be achieved, all spectators got a great view, and the stone was already re-set for subsequent attempts. World's Strongest Man winner, Phil Pfister, Travis "Texas Stoneman" Ortmeyer, and recent sensation Derek Poundstone were the only men to clear the bar with this beast of a stone. Misha slid into 4th place with 2 reps with the 465lb.
