Sport Specific Training- part 2

Sprint training:
Designing the program should take in the entire training and competition year. Taking into account the cycles of training which leads the athlete through the year, implementing a periodized strength and sprint training program.
Cycle 1- August to indoor season
Cycle 2- Early outdoor to conference meet.
Cycle 3- Peaking for major competition(June-July)
