The Whole Package

Whatever form of weight training you perform, whether it be Olympic lifting, Powerlifting, bodybuilding or fitness training, there is more to training than just lifting weights.
Many factors need to be considered as equally important in order to make maximum gains. Proper nutrition, proper rest, fewer outside stresses, proper equipment, optimal employment setup, etc.
For example, one of the reasons why the athletes at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs do so well is that they are in an environment where these outside factors are more controlled. This is often difficult for the ordinary athlete who does not have access to the same environment, but it is critical to consider the ""whole package"" to make the best gains.
