BALLISTIC SHIELD OPERATOR COURSE

Ballistic Shield Operator
The Ballistic Shield Operator Course is designed to provide tactical and patrol personnel with the tactical skills required to operate in various tactical environments with the ballistic shield. This is a hands on course that will teach the following topics:
* Training Safety
* Shield History
* Types of Shields
* Nomenclature
* Maintenance
* Operator PPE
* Deployment Considerations (Advantages - v - Disadvantages)
* Methods of Carry
* Clearing and Carrying Techniques
* Firearms Skills
* Rescues
* Low Light Operations
Gear
Equipment
* 1 Ballistic Shield per Student
* Handgun with holster and 3 Magazines
* 300 Rounds of ammunition
* Full tactical gear worn on call out by your agency (ie; Load bearing vest, helmet, hood, gloves, etc..)
* Body Armor and Helmet (Mandatory)
* Any ballistic PPE (ie; ballistic face shields, leggings, etc...) (Optional)

Registration Information and Eligibility
Our tactical training courses are restricted to active law enforcement, military, nuclear security teams and select medical personnel. All international military and law enforcement training will be limited to United States Department of State approved allied nations.

* Certificate of Completion
