Bert and I did some cheat curls. I really like this exercise, especially from a throwing standpoint.

I also think they are exponentially for strongmen as well if nothing more than to help protect the biceps. Stones, tire, alt. grip cleans, arm-over-arm; a lot of stress on the biceps and strongmen typically tend to neglect these as "beach work." I witnessed bicep blow-outs first hand, I think they could be prevented a lot of times with two steps - proper warm-up and using heavy cheat curls in training.

Good call on the strongman training with cheat curs. Really the bicep is neglected in a lot of sports.

They are great for power lifting. Even football linemen. With the elbows in and hand position more like a punch.
