I'm having some trouble with my right glute/ham area in the deep squat positions. It might be time for a little rest and rehab on that area so it doesn't get worse.

Was feeling good tonight....2 singles at my clean grip hang snatch pr felt really good....could have easily gotten another 5 to 10lbs. Legs felt good so I went up to 315 in the touch n go front squat.

I took it slow on the incline benches since my right pec/delt tie in area was pretty sore. Probably shouldn't have even benched....oh well. I'll foam roll and stretch the area to get it better.

The high pulls didn't bother my shoulder, I'm glad I subbed those in. Worked in the Hungarian Core Blaster to simulate the WOB movement.

Finally had my father-in-law take the grinder to smooth down the tines in my fork. A little more prep and it'll be ready for Warrensburg. I also had him take an inch off my hammer blades, felt they were too long. We'll see if that was a good or bad decision in two weekends.

This Weekend

Warrensburg was a good game....despite the windy conditions. First time throwing as an Amateur A, I finished exactly where I expected to finish...dead last, but I also gathered up more experience and some tips to work on. Despite my dead last finish I PR'd 6 out of 9 events.

BS 34'2" 4th - almost a 1 ft PR
OS 40'1" 6th
HWFD 31'6" 7th - 4 ft PR
LWFD 60'1" 7th - almost 3 ft PR
HH 69'9" 7th - almost 4 ft PR
LH 92'11" 7th - 3 ft PR
WOB 11' 7th
Caber 55 degrees on a heavy caber 6th
Sheaf 26' 16# bag 6th - 2 ft PR

Next game is Minnesota in two weeks.

Really disappointed in my WOB.....I have decided that I need to bring back some heavy snatch grip deads. I just didn't feel strong pulling the weight. Competing against the Burchett brothers and Chad Gustin made for a fun games.
